cp-bond
is a non-reemulsifiable, acrylic latex polymer agent and admixture.This high performance polymer is formulated as a bonding agent for cementitous mortars and toppings and as an admixture to site mixed or prepackaged cement based mortars. It is recommended for resurfacing and patching concrete floors, sidewalks, stucco and masonry.
direction for use
- Surfaces must be clean and free from rust, grease or oil. Surfaces should be dampened but not have standing water. Extremely dense surfaces shall be acid etched and rinsed to obtain a slight texture before bonding procedures are followed. In critical areas, test patches are recommended. Use undiluted CP-BOND or add enough Ordinary Portland Cement to provide a mixture with the consistency of heavy cream. Concrete containing CP-BOND shall not be placed in thickness exceeding ¾” at one time. Thicker sections may be placed using CP-BOND slush coat and plain concrete as a topping.
